Many of us start the New Year off feeling invigorated to make this the best year ever. Some of us make a long list of New Year's resolutions, only to find that they are the same ones we made the year before and the year before that!
How do we turn these New Year's resolutions into a reality!
STEP 1: Choose only one or two resolutions to work on!
When you look at you list, which resolution jumps out at you? Which one do you feel the most energy for? Which one has the biggest pay off? Highlight the BIG ONE and scratch the rest of them off your list!
STEP 2: What is your BIG WHY?
Ask yourself, "Why do I want to accomplish this resolution?" How will my life be different in three months after meet my goal? What is the big payoff when I succeed?
STEP 3: Turn your resolution into a S.M.A.R.T Goal!
SMART is an acronym for Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic and Timely. Studies show that people who set SMART goals are more likely to succeed!
