Are you embarking on a journey to make a positive change in your life?
Have you encountered a few road bumps along the way? Perhaps having trouble staying motivated? Or taking action? Or you feel like you’re doing the work, but not getting results?
Don’t despair! To end the struggle and make change with ease, all you need to do is align your intention with your whole being.
STEP 1: Align with your heart’s desire!
Change begins with a heart-felt desire. The heart’s desire is what drives your motivation to make change. In order to stay motivated to keep making progress, it’s important to anchor in your “Big Why.”
Here are questions to help you get clear on what your Big Why is or what the payoff is to making change.
What is the big payoff for me to make this change?
Three months or a year from now, after you successfully make the change, how is your life better? What are you doing? Who is with you? How do you feel?
Sometimes, it’s also beneficial to look at the opposite. Ask yourself, how will my life be negatively impacted if I don’t make the change.
When you are feeling less than motivated to keep on doing the work to make change, re-anchor in your ‘big why’ to get motivated to keep on going!
STEP 2: Align with your conscious mind!
Next, take your heart’s deep wish, it’s desire, and give it form.
This is where you consciously decide I want to make change!
Get clear on exactly what that change looks like. Take your heart’s wish, and give it form by turning it into a very specific S.M.A.R.T. goal, and make a clear plan of action.

STEP 3: Align your intention with your subconscious!
Now, third, it’s time to make things easier on yourself, so it’s not a struggle of willpower to follow through on your action plan. It’s time get your subconscious on board with your goals!
Why is the subconscious so important? About 10% of the day, you are making conscious choices. The other 90% of the day, the subconscious is the one driving the bus. You are running on autopilot.
Therefore, to achieve your goals, and have long-term success, it’s important your subconscious is supporting your efforts and not working against you!
